In the real world, the CS30D would have stood about 106 feet tall with a span of 400 feet. The CS Open Spire design allows the suspension to spread outward, away from the bridge deck increasing lateral stability. This bridge uses twelve support cables, each approximately 14 inches in diameter. Each cable would have consisted of smaller cables that would have then been connected to the pre-stressed UHPC (ultra high performance concrete) bridge deck. This bridge has a prototypical load capacity of 3,200 tons, or a US Class 1 freight rating of 40 tons per axle.
Use two or more additional CS30Ds to span over 60 inches.
